What is the most important thing in the world?
He tāngata, he tāngata, he tāngata
It is the people, it is the people, it is the people

Some questions for you
Is conflict a problem for you in any area of your life?
Is your relationship in trouble?
Are you experiencing grief or have you just experienced a shock?
Are you ready to grow?
Do you want to shed your emotional baggage?
Are you ready to take responsibility for your own behaviour?
Do you want to increase your resilience?
Do you understand that you have the greatest influence on how your life turns out?
Do you want to learn the patterns and habits that get you into challenging situations (and healthy alternatives)?
Are you having trouble communicating with others, or being understood?
Are you feeling overwhelmed right now?
Are you feeling unheard in any area of your life?
Do you feel silenced or powerless by a situation you are in?
If you have answered "yes" to any of the above questions, welcome - you are in the right place. I can work with you to ensure that your current challenges become manageable, and that you find more happiness and resilience in your daily life.
When is the right time to get help?
If you are in distress, something big has just happened, if you are feeling overwhelmed, or there is a crisis going on - these are absolutely important times to get help.
Counselling isn't just useful for the big stuff - it's also the everyday stresses that can reduce our resilience and general happiness – eg: being bullied at work, having difficult work or personal relationships, struggling to make an important decision, step parenting, negotiating the new rules of living together, fear of anger or conflict – assistance with these types of issues (which can be achieved in 3-6 sessions) can clear the way for more happiness and strength in all areas of your life.
Please consider getting in touch if you want to explore any area of your life that is currently not working the way you’d like.
I invite you to have a good look around the site - there is information on funded counselling, how to contact me, how I work, partially funded counselling, lots of information on counselling topics, and some articles I have written.
